My Wanderlust Life
I grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, the youngest daughter of a Lutheran family. I always had an adventurous spirit, so as soon as I graduated from college (Missouri State in Springfield), I moved out west and started a career trajectory that would take me through Nevada, Arizona, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Washington, Alabama, Florida, and Nebraska.
My Interests
Dogs are life. I have golden retrievers and a love for all mammals. My busy days are filled with dog park dates and tennis ball throws. I stay active through rowing, boxing, and yoga. My creativity extends to crafts and cooking, though I wouldn't try to make a living off of either. My latest adventure is with the Meta Quest, playing in a VR world of intrigue, making me glad I don't have screen time limits. My passion comes from helping people learn new things or by simplifying tough topics. I'm also an amateur storm chaser who is terrible at seeking shelter when tornado sirens go off.
My Work
From the second I saw a news producer at work during my internship, I knew what I wanted to do. I started as a producer/editor and worked my way for the next 23 years to main show producer then EP, and eventually the department manager route as Asst. News Director and finally News Director jobs until 2021. Seeing the unfortunate trajectory of local news, I bowed out and started working for myself. I would love to tell you more!

As a proud Gen Xer, I have that work hard, play hard mentality. I bring a strong, no-nonsense work ethic rooted in loyalty, passion, and a drive to deliver meaningful results. I approach every project with curiosity and commitment—constantly learning, adapting, and pushing for the best possible outcome. I work well independently or as part of a team, and I focus on solutions, not roadblocks. I don’t waste time dwelling on problems—I solve them. I take accountability seriously, choose my priorities wisely, and always aim to elevate the work.
